Help with boz options please

I have a 2004 type R 10". Right now I have it in a small sealed box, within the specs recomended by Alpine. I dont remember exactly, but arround .75ft^3, with polyfil in it as well.

Using a US Acoustics USX600 amp. I dont know actual output, as the web site says 375w RMS at 2 ohm, and the manual says 300 W RMS at 2 ohm. Either way, thats the amp at the moment.

I have gains set properly and all that, and really like the bass response, but was begining to want more, having this setup for about 2 years. I dont know if I want to do a slightly bigger sealed box, maybe 1-1.2 ft^3, or go with a small ported box. There are no recomended ported specs from alpine for this sub.

I have also been thinking of geting a new Assassin when they come out, and the last one had very similar specs to my type R, as far as box sizes go.

What should I do?
