help with box?

Can someone tell me what i should tune a box to i was thinking around 40hz(going for spl)..also can you tell me how much air space would need and how big i would have to make the port? dont know anything at all about making boxes so. would appreciate it thanks ill get the specs for the subs they are 2 DC 12" level 5

For a 12" and you want a burp box or do you want it to play music?

And what kind of car is this going in...the Celica?

I'd go with 2 cubes tuned to 45Hz or so..car will peak a little higher, should see a nice number. Maybe even 50hz or so..

Small box, big port, high tuning = high #'s

I wouldn't tune any higher than 40 hertz if you want it to be musical.

an external aero port would allow you to switch tubes for a daily and a comp tuning

for a 2.5^3-2.75^3 box......i would go about 40-48" of port if using a slot port
