help with box for 2 15 in l5s

Yes but I'm building the box myself and I figured it would be easier to build it in the trunk and because I don't have $800 to spend to wall them lol or I would.

If you build the wall or half wall on your own it won't cost $800 or what ever to build. Just more time and effort, and it will look much better then other options you are considering at this time.

Personally i would just use one sub or get something different all around that will work with in the limits of your application.

I am wanting to trade these for 2 12 in l7s and build a good box for them if I can find some l7s. I owned a pair of 12 in l7's before these and I loved them. Would that be a better option do you think? I think 2 15's would just be a hassle to build the box in such a small car.

You may be able to fit the 12s in your car. At least it would be much easier then what you currently have.

What are some good subs for spl that will keep up with the L7s for the same price? I'm open to suggestions to other subs... I have just personally owned all kicker subs and I love them so I don't know what other subs I could look at? I want them to hit real hard and I want a vented box for deeper bass.

Your best bet is to set a budget and go from there. Depending on the power you want to use and the budget there are lots of options.

Remember though SPL is only a number. In order to achieve a decent number with out a tone of work is higher tuning.

If you are talking about just being "loud" rather then SPL then that is much different and a lower/average tuning will net a decent result for that.

I had 2 12 inch l7s that I loved that were extreamly loud, hit real hard, and they went real low and would shake everything. Thats what I'm looking to get again.

Ah, yea that is not SPL. That is just being "loud" which is more subjective then anything.

sell them get 2 skar vvx-15's 5 cubes @ 30hz on 2-3k should be good
