Help with amp,sub,speakers installation

hey everyone

currently i have a pioneer 50 x 4 pioneer head unit running 220 watt pioneer speakers.

i have just bought a 1000 watt 4 channel Boss amp and a 1200 watt sony xplod subwoofer.

i need to know how to wire this up and a few things persifically.

today i tried to wire it up. i currently find diffulcities.........i have a holden vl commodore. do i have to wire the RCA cables up to in car amplifier and the car stereo????? if i want to run the sub and speakers through the 4 channels what is needed here????? if i want to run 2 channels through my speakers then the other 2 through the sub how do i hook all this up

i am pretty new to this and want to save money by doing this myself

could anyone give me step by step or just normal instructions no how to hook all this up
