Hello guys i have an amp problem OK so i have a 2000 Mustang and i am trying to hook up two 12 inch db drive subs...I have hooked up every thing correctly to the amp but i cannot get the amp to power my subs in my mustang but when i hook it up inside of another car it works perfectly. If anyone has any kind of resolutions to this i would appreciate it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

What kind of amp, and were the subs you used to test the same as the subs you own? Make sure your remote wire didn't get disconnected from fuse box.
I have a Power Acoustik CPT1-3200D Mono Block D and yes i used my subs for both cars

If you have a meter, I would suggest you use that to diagnose. I can only think that your remote wire is loose or wired to a dead spot. Or, your power wire is loose or bad.
Ok thanks and by you saying my power is loose do u mean the battery cables?

Well, the remote wire is not the cause. If the amp is powering on and you get no sound then you need to check your rca's.[/QUOT
Hmm yes that was a problem i was thinking about also my cd player has many rca ports and i have no idea which one to use. My cd player is a Sony BT4100P

I guess your blacks are the one. But it should send a signal regardless where you put the wires. Check your hu and make sure sub volume is up. Then check rca's with a meter.
Ok ill try this out and thanks for your help.
