alright the installer guy who does most of my stuff tells me i need a new amp cuz mine wont cut it

i have 2 infinity perfet 12" subs

and a kenwood kac 929 1000watt amp

can anyone tell me why i cant use this amp ???

of would i be ok to use it ??

i think the kac929 only puts out 150w rms x 2. the subs you have can handle more power but if it sounds good to you then keep it.

how many voice coils are the subs and what are the ohms of each voice coil?

the amp is only bridgable into a 4 ohm load!!!

like i said you can only wire them together to get either a 8ohm or 2ohm load for your amp. your amp is only stable to 2ohms in STEREO. not bridged. so for now you will have to wire them in stereo. i too want to upgrade my sub amp. right now i am only pushing 50w rms to each.

2400w x 4 peak and 120w rms x 4. That has to be world record dynamic right there 🤣.
