Help with ALUM12Q!!

i just got an audiobahn alum12q and i was wondering what i should run it at (rms and freq). also i'm gonna get a sealed enclosure and how many cubicft would be best.

alum 12Q's are dual 3 ohm, if I remember correctly...so you need an amp that's one ohm stable.

you cant tune a sealed box to a certain frequency

Are you sure? my older ones are dual 6 ohm or 3 ohm wired parallel, so somthing 2ohm stable would work, that being said I like haveing current in reserve for when the ohm fluctuates so just get a hifonics BX1500D, oh and speaking from expeariance ( agian 2001 model) id put them in the largest sealed box they recommend, maid mine sound way better than the smaller of the recommed air spaces.

can you pm and tell me what they sound like? i had 2 alum 12x's but they got stolen before i ever really heard them (i inverse mounted them in that wooden crate they come in and hooked them up to my dads house stereo,hey i was only 15) so i never really heard them. I heard a alum15x in a bandpass box in my local shop that sounded pretty good (for strictly down south rap where the bass is supposed to boom)
