Help With A Box

Im about to build a box for a Kicker L7 but heres the thing. Its going in a Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab. But instead of under the back seat the I'm taking out the center console out of the front seat and putting the box there. My question is which way would you guys face the sub and which way would you face the port. Any suggestions on box size would be appreciated also. Thanks

I used to have a Quad cab 03. Face it back to back...

Called a friend, Who has one currently.He said some people are facing the sub down and port back. Just have to make sure you build the box high enough up so the sub doesnt hit the floor. Has enough air space.
