How many volts should I see on my RCAs?

Hey,

I just installed some streetwires ZN5 RCAs to run to my subs amp. To test if they were run properly I decided to test the voltage on them. With the positive lead on the middle pin and the negative lead on the casing, how many volts should I be seeing (DCV)?

I'm not sure, it's an Alpine CDA-9883.

Should the voltage change with the volume?

Pre Output Voltage (Before Clipping): 2V

That would be at 35/35 tho right?

At 20/35 I was getting .007 V 0_o?

You need to play a sine wave and turn the volume to like 30/35

Measure AC not DC
