ok so i have a 2006 GMC canyon extended cab. its got the 2 lil tiny doors n seats in the back. i really dont give a **** about those in the back, so i am hoping to be able to build a box to fit two 12" woofers back there. i live in atlanta, and it would be AWESOME if someone could help me out with this. i will be using either Fi BTL's, Fi Q's, Kicker CVX's, or IDmax subs, and i want to build a ported box.

any help would be GREATLY appreciated

I live in Northeast GA. About 2 hours from ATL. I could build the box for you if you are interested and bring it down to ya so we can be sure it fits. That's only if you let me hear it afterwards tho //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

how do u think it should be set up? like what direction for subs & port?id like to do a ported SQL box
i would say subs forward port up, subs up port forward, subs up port back. any of those. i dont have any personal experience from truck systems tho. two 12s will sound good regardless as long as the tuning and airspace are correct.

on the meter... sub forward port side firing or sub forward and port up tend to be the loudest... however they dont always sound the best. (ask tommyK his shetz is retarded loud)
but for sound quality downfiring in a truck is always best... better loading on the driver and you get better low end extension
yeah id rather it be LOUD and still sound acceptably good than have hella SQ and not be as loud. im off to measure it. (jus got out the shower comin home from kickboxing so as soon as i get dressed to go outside ill have specs of the rear space.)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
