I have a Chevy Silverado 2010 1500. Im removing the stock stereo and replacing it with an aftermarket VRN-65HXB Soundstream. I used butt connectors for all of the wires and it’s all set. The only thing I’m confused about is the 12v red wire coming from the harness. Which fuse am I supposed to tap it to? Here’s the picture from my fuse panel. Thanks in advance.

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
