How would I wire 4 4 ohm svc coxial speakers to a 2 ohm load on a zx350.4 kicker? The rear speakers will be easy to get to but the fronts will make it harder? Ill run front speakers on amp 1 and rears on amp 2 thanks
Well I'm trying to get a 2 ohm load on each speaker to get more power out of amp just trying to simplify it for wiring up front speakers? Since I'll have to run positive to positive I don't want to run a jumper to the other front door in for a parral load
So you want to use 2 channels of a 4 channel amp to drive 4 speakers? Or if you have 2 amps, are you trying to bridge an amp to each set of speakers? What kind of speakers are you trying to blow?
Lol its 1 kicker zx350.4 4 channel so it has amp 1 and amp 2 which is the 4 channels I want to run the 2 front coaxials on amp 1 and the 2 rear coaxials on amp 2 2 ohm load- I plan to buy some aq pro mids and maybe pro tweeters? Or just run some kicker coaxials
you have 4 ohm speakers not 2 ohm speakers..... you can wire two speakers together to get a 2 ohm load, but it'll be dividing the power into two speakers therefor halfing the pwr. hope that makes some sense
Ok so I can't wire them up like Subwoofers I thought wiring them down to 2 ohm that it would make more powerful like dual subs to equal a 2 ohm load? Could I not use a jumper wire at on 2 channels left positive to right positive and right neg to left neg for front speakers? Like they would be together in each door? The rear deck speakers I could wire together
What would be the best way to run 4 ohm pro mids front and rear And One Set of PRO 4 Ohm SUPERTWEETERS Without Passive crossovers? Also would like to use factory tweeters in dash?
Well I'm keeping factory hu on a 2006 Honda civic coupe it has factory premium system already but going to bypass factory amp and replace door speakers and rear deck speakers but I want to keep factory tweeters up in dash so I don't have to mess with pulling them out and just adding some extra tweeters to doors and run these off a kicker zx350.4 4 channel and my kicker subs off a kicker zx750.1 I'm going to use either kicker ds65 6.5 inch coaxials or run some Audioque qp-m65 pro audio speakers and super tweeters
get a nice set of kicker splits for the front, put the mids in the door and the tweeters in the factory location, get a pair of 2-way or 3-way speakers for the rear in the fatory locations. also i'd suggest you change your headunit first.
