help wiring amp to sub...

not sure how to wire it as far as a 2ohm or 4ohm. I got a mtx ta 2301 and a jl w3v3-4. if anyone could help...

that sub is a single 4-ohm voice coil, i have the exact same one. Just connect the speaker wire + and - to the terminals on the speaker and the + and - terminals on the amp and there you go.

haha yeah i got that but i was looking at the specs on the mtx amp and it pushes 300 at a 2ohm and 150 at a 4ohm. had it installed by someone else cuz i didnt feel like takin my shit apart again and he has it at 4ohm but not sure if it should be at 2ohms just if he just wired it wrong.
