Help wiring a capacitor

I have a capacitor and two distribution blocks now (one for power, one for ground, the power is fused). I have recently found "pucks" that sit on top of the capacitor and also act as distribution blocks. The only problem is that I dont believe they are fused. Is it necessary to fuse the wires when running two amps?

no, you don't need to fuse a capacitor. I mean, you *could*, to prevent thermal runaway, but that's only if you had an overvoltage condition in the charging system anyway.

Whether or not to have fuses near the amps - depends on whether the amps have onboard fuses on them.

Thankd for your reply Jack Frost...greatly appreciated. I have a RF Punch 360 and a Punch 500s. How do I find out if they have onboard fuses? I looked through the owners manuals but found nothing.

umm...look at them? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

if they have fuses, they'll be the standard ATC blade type, on the side. Color coded according to ampacity.

I guess they dont have it. All i see on the sides of the amp are: speaker left & right, crossover, gain, input left & right and "high level input" (no clue what that is). On the other side is the "REM" and power and ground inputs.
