HELP: wiring 3 subs

alright i have 3 12" bravox exs

4 ohm, dual voice coil

i used the rf wizard:

is this the only way to wire it? can i wire it some other way for a overall lower ohm

You could also run them parallel/series for a 6ohm load, but no, you can't get any lower

You do realize that you have 3 subs at 8ohms a piece?

How much lower can you reasonable get?

they only had these in stock and these are hard to get since bravox doesn't allow vendors to sell through internet....

so i had to pick them up for the price i was getting. no biggie, 3 subs are enough anyways.

another noob question: what are the benefits of running high ohms?

None...you need an amp with tons more power at higher impedience = very costly..

Lower impedience = cheaper...

You should be fine with a 2ohm stable amp...

ok thanks, the shop did say he'll switch out the subs for me, i hope he kept his promise.
