Help understanding Class D amps

ok so the Kicker zx 750.1 is rated at

375 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (750 watts x 1 at 2 ohms)

and 1500 watts peak power

so i what i want to know is if i were to wire 2 12 inch Kicker L5s to the amp, could i get 750 watts to each, equaling 1500 total watts

or would i be splitting 750 watts to each, thus making this worthless to my potential set up

what amp would be suggested to power the kickers then? about the same wattage

it would give 750 a piece

would this amp have the same effect as the Kicker 1500

no thats a cheapo amp u would be putting more power with the 750.1 ..

for the amp i wasnt planning on spending more than 350.

also for people who run there amp off a car battery not under the hood (ie extra battery in the trunk) what kind of life do u get out of it?

it'll last a long time if you play your system with your engine on more than you do with it off. I would also recommending re-charging the 2nd battery once in awhile to maintain a high floating voltage
