Help tuning sub/ amp

I have 2 JL 12w0(original style) in a sealed JL powerwedge box wired to 4ohm load. It's power by a fosgate Power 360 a2 amp.

What hz do I use the tune it? I have the LPF set to 80hz.

Umm... if you have set your low pass filter and if your gains are set, there is nothing left to tune on the amp.

I think you're confused with the tuning frequency of an enclosure. This is done with non-sealed enclosures and done during the design phase.

I'm trying to set the gains on the amp. I did the formula and it needs to put out like 39 volts. When I download a test tone I want to use -3db but don't know what hz to use?

Use 60hz and use a 0dB tone; using the -3dB tone defeats the purpose of setting the gain the way you're planning on doing it.
