Help Tuning Eclipse 8445

the 2ndary lights (button text, etc.) are triggered by the headlight ilumination. They are generally off until you turn on your headlights, then on (mixed) and the main text display dims, when you turn on your headlights/parking lights. You can bypass this with a switched 12V source to the Illum wire so all lights are on all the time, but the display will be too dim to see in the day (it's already so dim that it's near impossible to see the display in bright daylight, so not sure why someone would want it even dimmer).
