HELP?? to isolator or not to isolator

ok i been deciding weather or not to run an isolator for when i install my 2 back batteries i heared isolators are usless ..

then i heard that i can run a isolator relay,,which just looks like a solenoid to me any help would be appreciated..

im running a 235 h/o alt//

one yellow top optima in front

an i plan on running too UPS 12-370FR c&d batteries in the back

if you decide to isolate i have the only isolator you want, do not use a real one they are no good. I used one and loved it as i didnt have to worry about power drain from my car system.
