no it isn't, i'd have to take out everything, and it's a bish to put back, especially the ac box, cause it'd have to recharge. the alt is in there purdy deep :\

well that just sucks i am sorry man. my only other suggustion is get the ho alt if your going to have to change the alt for that and take the ac out then your all set for the future and be on i know theres got to be away. i dont know where you live but its winter and i know here you dont need to have a/c any more.. from cars that i recarged the a/c on was not that bad. dident take too long 30 mins max. but i dont know if thats the same as takeing it out and haveing to refill it. cant undo the acs bolts and kind a mkove the tubes arounf to get there.?

yeah i see what you're saying. i'll go back up to the shop tomorrow after work and see what they can do for me.

then my wires and enclosure comes in on thursday :] then i'll install everything and see how shit goes.

Technically, the alt + to bat + is the least important of the big 3, atleast until you have your HO alt.

Run it like that man, with the upgraded grounds. If you voltage is bad, then when you get a HO alt, you could add the + upgrade then. I know for a fact, that stock 4ga will not have a problem passing those 80amps your alt is putting out.

Sure it would help to add all 3 wires of the big 3 but, if theres one you could do with out the HO, it would be the +.

im changing that 4ga to 1/0 ga when my wires come in on thursday.

What are you trying to run that your getting dimming.

Wire ran to the back properly ?

Batt installed properly ?

What size wire from front to back ?

Run of neg and pos ?

What amps are currently installed ? ( Estimate of how many amps are you pulling )

Grounds ?

Ect.

Can you get to it from under the car? Try taking the right side wheel off, and the inner fenderwell out, its really not all that bad, ive had to do that before. Will most likely have to do it again this weekend on a camry im working on.

no back batt. everything is STOCK. im not starting anything new BESIDES the big 3 til this weekend when i attempt to do my install

power wires ihave 4 ga CURRENTLY, it will all change when shipment comes in

one big no no i see is that you have a long piece of wore running across the engien for a ground the ground should be as short as possible
