the subs blew because you were abusive with your gain setting. excessive clipping damaged your subs, which is fairly common. the cheap comments are to get you down to reality, you say you want 4000W from the amp, you won't see anything near that. The manual states 450Wx2 at 2 ohms which is realistic. So you can give each sub about 450W RMS by wiring it in stereo, coils bridged, for a 2 ohm stereo load. Or you can try to wire the coils in series then parallel the subs for 4 ohms and bridge the amp. You won't see any more power though. Your safest bet is non-bridged, 2 ohm stereo.
