Help setting the HPF and LPF on my amp

I am running my mids with my amp, and I need help with setting the HPF and LPF. Do I only need to adjust the LPF for mids or HPF also? I was thinking LPF would be around 63Hz to 80Hz. Any help? Thanks in advance all.

just mids, tweeters are going straight to HU. Now the mids are going to the amp, my question is do i only set the LPF setting or the HPF setting also?

only mids ganna be running active, the HU is only for tweeter....the HU is a Eclipse CD8445

ok, all i want to know is about the mids...do i only adjust the low pass?

well active is actively crossing over both the mids and tweets. mids should be band-passed. tweets should be high-passed.

ok sorry, i am just going toamp the 6.5" mids and my tweeters powered by my HU, all i want too do is set the setting correctly on my amp for my 6.5" mids. the amp has a switch for low pass, full, high and has two dials, onee for HPF and the other LPF...what should they be set to appoximatly?

well thats why i asked how the tweeters are gonna be crossed because that all doesn't really make sense.

Hi-pass.

say you set it to 60hz, it will play everything ABOVE 60hz

Low-pass

Set it to 60hz, it will play everything LOWER than 60hz.

You adjust which ever filter you decide to use.. I would use the hi-pass
