right on, but man, i dunno. I'd thing that it was a blowout for the Rockford P3 here. Motor structure is similar enough, but the surrounds and cone structure has to go to the Rockford
i'd love to compare some of these subs for people against mine same box, same car, same amp only real way to do it and my pioneer has 96db on it's side., i'm telling u only thing bad about it is basket but i bet u it's louder ported (probably sealed) than most subs under $150 with only 500-800 rms now maybe some that have lots more excursion will do more with the power but that 96db helps with anything 600 down to 300rms it'll be louder (once broken in it has dual mirrored spider like u find on much more expensive subs so took a while for me to break in since i don't drive much).. also lets keep in mind if u go by price to be fair i should be able run 2 of these for what 1 of almost any single compareable sub cost since mine was $70., think on that... u should buy 2 $140 put in your box play low for 3 days then turn them up and see if i'm lying., read reviews man there's like 500 basically 5 star reviews peeps said as good or better than w6., my last subs were orion hp nice basket on those, work at shop for year had memphis, orion xtr (when they were good), clarion xtant, hifonics, elemental designs (when they were good) several others (look at pics in my gallery) none of them were as loud as this 1 pioneer (diff not louder anyway) most of those were sealed pairs (little less power too) but this sub sounded good with autotek amp too., and out of the sealed subs i had with same 600rms i used to run back then loudest best sounding subs i had were pioneer premier and i'm not only one that said that, shop owner said it and he didn't sell pioneer....
Wow.. are you worked up about someones opinion... Must be my post that did it... I'm not tryin' to step on your weenie here and I will apologize to the OP if he feels that my opinion caught his car on fire or something... LOL!.. All I said is that in my experience $80 Pioneer sub coils pop like light bulbs you are fiercely loyal to said brand, and a P3 will take a little more... and that the CAB is often overlooked but I feel it is best in price per watt under $200... you are really taking this seriously... so much that it is comical... in the future if you want to start something... Quote them in your post... I really don't want you to become ANGRY GRANDPA!.. It is only a forum after all...LOL!
as i said about my sub i feel it is over looked and under estimated., but the cab is not, not at all.. ok p3 is a better sub and it cost 80% more $, if i got what i thought was a nice car for $20k a u said well my cars faster and it cost $36k i'd say good for u i can do repairs on my car for 10 yrs with the 4 diff.. my sub blows up i'm out $70 big whoop...also if anything u the new guy here and we recommend the cab amp here 20 times a week how is that being over looked?, just not everyone wants a 30" long amp thats how long his sub box is., again be great if he had the wires for it but he don't and as u saw he's looking at getting a pa i was trying to talk him off of that and into anything else without saying oh and u also have to pay shop $250 for new wires.. if he asked for biggest best thing bar none for the $ sure cab but then u gotta say do wires 1st when he also needs a box now, he has 250rms per sub off a 4 chan hifonics with no ss filter and a box tuned to 41hz., he need amp with 800-1200rms and a ss filter asap, unless he wants to keep what he has a while and pay for big 3 oga upgrade that he cannot do on his own., then spean more $ onamp and hope subs don't blow up from having gain to high or lack of ss filter
so outta alll i said thats what u took away from it ok.. yeah i make tons of cash giving free advise., and love having peeps bash my cheap equipment cause u know i have no idea i'm poor (having no health ins didn't give me a clue to that)
