Help Setting the Bass & Treble!

I have an Alpine 9884 Headunit, 1000 watt monoblock class D Quantum Audio Amp, and 12 inch Kicker CVR sub. At first I just had the sub and the amp connected with the stock deck. The subs seemed to hit harder with the stock deck. After installing the Alpine deck and adjusting the EQ, the sub doesn't seem to hit as hard. The sub also doesn't hit the high bass notes very hard, it only hits the lower notes hard. How should I tune the bass frequency, bass range, and the treble frequency? Thanks.

did you turn up the gains?

eq on your hu should be idealy flat. check your crossover settings on your hu, crossover/amp and the gain adjustments of your crossover/amp.

set everything flat on your hu, you might have to turn the sub level up on your deck, then reset your gain and go from there.
