Help PLEASEEE... HEADACHE ON...

tomorrow ill double check the voicecoil configuration, and im not sure about the gain because they put the amp under my seat and i cant see the gain or that stuff.. ill need to take the seat out... the gauge is 4 from the battery to the back of my seat, there is a fuse box that splits 4 gauges wires to each amp. and ground is 4 gauge too

My guess is you are upset with the low end output because the box is on the small side for what is recommended, going from the three separate chambers to one big one will work a bit better, it wont put you at the recommended size, but your vehicles cabin gain should make up for the small difference.

I'm not sure why the amp is going into protect, it is 1 ohm stable, even with the 3 drivers wired in parallel you should only be seeing a 1.333 ohm final load, so that wouldn't cause a low impedance protection. Maybe the amp is getting too hot, you did say it's under your seat so that may be a problem.

Thanks pal, so you are saying i should put the 2 subs in the box without any separation inside the box? i mean, only one chamber box with two subs? i got it installed yesterday, ill get it fixed tomorrow, so, now is my chance to decide what should i do with the box. i appreciate your help

You'll probably lose some output overall, but your low end should be a bit more pronounced with the larger box. Your best way is to just cut out the panels with a jig saw, don't cut it completely, leave about an inch all the way around and use it as bracing. I'm sure you've thought of this, but you definitely need to seal the middle hole, taking a piece of mdf large enough to cover it will do just make sure to seal it up tight.

yeahh.. i read that on jl audio today, (bracing).. does that help?

so, i should not put a separation in the middle of the box? i thought that would help to get the piece of MDF that im gonna seal the middle hole with, tighter... what is going to happen if i put the separation in the middle of the box? better that without it? or not better? thanks

Mdf is somewhat dense, but it can still resonate, usually the larger panels will give you the most problems I usually brace every box I build, no mater of size.

I would just leave it one large chamber, separating it in the middle sounds like too big of a pain in the butt, though it is your box so you can obviously do what you want with it, so thats up to you.

im just trying to built the best sounding box i can fit in my truck buddy, i really appreciate your help and ill do what you told me to do (bracing with my current divisions). do you think 0.71ft3 that im currently dealing with besides 1.125ft3 jlaudio recommended box, is the issue with my crappy bass? i cant turn the epicenter up because it sounds like if i was running some crappy 8 inches subs...

NOT NICE..

Generally when running smaller sealed boxes than what is recommended for the driver, you end up with a very weak low end, though upping your power can sometimes overcome this, but building a larger box is cheaper and should fix your problem.
