Hi, i just got installed a Pionner Premier 780MP head unit, Audiocontrol epicenter, hifonics ZXi600.4 amplifier hooked up to a infinity perfect 6.1 component, and 4x6 infinity reference plate speakers, the problem here is that i put a hifonics 1600D amplifier hooked up to 3 JL AUDIO 12W3V3-4, in a single cab Silverado, the problem is that the space behind my seats is to small, the box we build, gives me
.71ft3, and the recommended sealed enclosure is 1.125ft3. the subs sound awful, the thing here is that i had to take the sub of the middle off beause you werent able to lift the console in the middle because the sub wouldnt aloud it. so now i will use the .71ft3 of the sub in the middle, to split it with the other two subs, this will give me 1.065ft3, would this work? do you think that the subs sound awful because of the small enclosure they are working in? why does the amp PROTECTS itself when i turn up the volume? thanks a lot guys... please help me out...
