Can someone explain to me why my wire did this...

its KNU flex 4 ga. thought that was pretty reliable.

if it is over current. should i just upgrade my fuse??? and lastly could it be a bad ground?

if its over current and you upgrade your fuse it will happen again easier your fuse is supposed to prevent over current you may be over fused?

No you cant. If you use larger then a 150 amp the cable could catch fire. With that amp I would use 1/0 and it could be a bad ground. Make sure the gain is set right
