Which wire should I use to hook up my amp?

So in the back of my HU there are two wires coming out according to the user guide that are a little confusing. I am hooking up a Kenwood Z828 and a Dual 400w amp and not sure which wire I need to have hooked up. I know that the remote wire is supposed to run to the HU but cant tell which one I need.

The first wire is Blue/White:

"When using the optional power amplifier connect to its power control terminal"

The second wire is Pink/Black:

"To EXT.AMP.CONT terminal of the amplifier having the external amp control function"

Which of these should I use? I dont want to hook the wrong one up.
