Help plan a system for my LS7 ***** Am

Actually, if you want to see funny.... a local dude put a turbocharged H22 in an Odyssey van, 5 speed and all. He crashed his prelude while drunk and a family member gave him the van because its transmission went out. Regardless, I laugh my *** off every time I see that van and hear the turbo spooling.

Lol

I agree whoever said lt1's are kinda shit man them optisparks are the absolute worst thing ever invented. I powerwashed my engine in my 96 impala taking pretty much every percausion possible and still soaked the opti somehow cost me a few hundered to get a new one, dumb mistake on my part but i mean come on...

I give gm a break because the ls series engine are prolly the best engines ever built.

Your going with a ls7 non fuel injected?

pic of my impala i sold it 2 years ago it had a procharger i dumped so much into it and only ran a 13.20, never buy a boat again. loved the body style though.

No, this is a street car. idk y someone said i should "go injected next time"...

I never intended to go carb style...

I got my LS7 intake and fuel rails from GM parts house. and the intake will be ported Jeremy Formato. then i have the FAST 92mm Throttle Body. Then through a SLP Lid.

Well there are pros and cons to carbs. Carbs on street machines will prolly never die out totally(nascar and prostock). The thing about carbs are they haven't made much improvment in them over the last ten years and they are not as reliable as efi, also efi makes more power.

On the carb side: cheaper(ave. efi is like 2500), simplicity, no return lines to the fuel tank and no electronics package to mount.

I wouldn't go carb eaither.

o. ok i get it

and my car is already set-up for injected. and i have the computer and hptuners, so im all set.
Setting up for injection isn't that hard. Main thing is the return line for the fuel, and the high pressure pump. The brain and sensors should all come with the injection system.
I really like the design of my ramjet, the brain is mounted to the intake manifold (in the gap) and came with all sensors. All that is required is a 12v source, and a ground. Made for cars that never had a brain in them to begin with.

Nice TA man, but what kind of ****** are you doing here lmao?

you have the firehawk hood, TA hatch, Corvette wheels, TA emblems, Firehawk sticker lmao.

but the TA is my fav car.

I have a 98' Firebird and my dad has a 00' TA and hes supercharging it soon from Lingenfelter.

absolutely the funnest cars iv ever driven.

Thats how i bought it. The hawk has the same spoiler are the T/A unless youre thinking about the iroc special edition spoiler that was only an option for firehawks. i debadged the whole car. but the vette wheels are sexy. Im not into forced induction right now. Id rather have 650WHP N/A that 650 on boost/juice

optisparks are the worst **** design ever //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
mines going out now. will be switching to an ltcc setup soon.
Ive replaced ~2 optisparks on my lt1 camaro.....

in 5K miles :/

They don't like the rain.

Car is now sitting in my backyard/driveway with a blown headgasket.

Had more problems than ill need for a lifetime. Soon as I finish school it's getting a Rearmount/Cam lowered on some better rims. (running ls1 SS wheels on it now.
