Help plan a system for my LS7 ***** Am

Infiniti G20. Bought it with my own cash. that I made from my own job, $2650.
Sure, may be 17, but that doesn't mean I'm an idiot. Yes, I can change my oil. I've also replaced out one of the suspension struts on my car, and put in a new intake manifold.

However - if I had the money for a cobra, it would sure as hell go somewhere else. I was saying his car was more "bad ***" than mine. Difference in meaning here.

Yes, it's respectable to be able to do your own stuff, if he did, I'll applaud that.
If speed is what you want man you really can't find a better car for the price looks aside.

 
like I said, cosmetics of a vehicle are personal preference, to say taht the 03-04 svt cobra isnt a incredible vehicle is just ignorant, for under 1000 in bolt ons you can have an 11 second daily driver. thats not respectable?

I'd rather myself take the same amount of money though, get a '91 300ZX or something along those lines, and TT it.

I just wanna point out to you that a twin turbo 91 300zx would only be a 12 second car. So economically speaking looks aside it would be kinda a waste.

 
im a chevy guy and would take a cobra over a ws6:fyi:and itll cost you a ton to make that 300zx fast dependably, theyre known for breaking parts
LOL that what i was trying to say before homeboy attacked my car knowledge. I owned more Chevys in my life then most(actually swore i wouldnt buy another Ford). My buddy kept telling me to at least go drive a CObra and i still went to test drive a new Vette before i drove my car, it was like a totally different level.

 
It kinda comes with youth, i swore i knew alot more than I did at that age, when you educate yourself and have built and driven 11 second cars then you have the right to criticize. But like I said, im more of a v8 guy myself but can appreciate anything fast that is done right.

I've seen some pretty fast setups with an engine swap and some high psi turbos... ^^

Be some work, but it's not going to be that expensive relatively. And the work would be fun.

I am torn between supercharging my 2006 Mustang GT with a Kenne Bell or just purchasing a new Camaro SS. The positive side to doing the Mustang is it will be paid for soon, even though I will have to dump money into a forged bottom end and supercharger.

The downside to the Camaro is I will have to take that money that I would have spent on a forged bottom end and supercharger then use it for a down payment on yet another car note. Then, I will probably void most of the power train warranty with mods so I am SOL if the motor goes boom while I am still paying on it.

No matter how you look at it, I am disappointed in the power that one can make naturally aspirated with the 4.6 modular. Ive seen guys dump $11k to $15k into the motor with stroker kits, cams, and you name it, only to reach a peak of 430 BHP //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

 
i gotta say i owned a 96 ***** am and at the same time my buddy had a 94 gt 5.0 with a couple mods..... my ***** am was great and wasnt impressed at all with his mustang. i miss my TA

Im not a system guy as far as knowledge goes on whats in right now.
But i do drive a 500+ hp daily driver and i can say you saying you want it to "appear stock", i dunno brah. I set off car alarms with my exaust everywhere i go and my buddy has a ws6 dumped and that shit is louder then my car. Appearing stock is one thing but when you are putting that much hp to the rear wheels people know once they hear your car its not stock. So why even try?

Another thing you don't have to know much about car stereo systems to know that them stock radios in them Chevys are str8 garbage. I had a few Camaros and the first thing i did was get rid of that bose shit its terrible.

Also when you get that ls7 in come see me im in Livonia and im about to put a whipple on my car so we will be about the same hp.

So you have under a grand into mods... but you'd still have more into the whole car as i do.

I could've bought a cobra. but i figured id spend my money wisely and not hop on the **** band wagon.

And most real gearheads would agree, fast is fast. Having the knowledge to make any car fast is respectable, cosmetics are all personal preferance.
Fast is fast... NO! everyone at my school has either bought their car... or had a shop build it. OR they have a cobra and they think they're cool because they put an exhaust on it WOW... you want a F'n cookie? A true gear head(no matter the car) is someone i respect. They're rare tho. So w/e. In general most Cobra owners dont tear into their Quad Cam POS.
