I would go with atleast 5/8s MDF. Not clear acrylic. You'll have to brace it so much it will look silly.
how about 2 pieces of 3/4 inch slapped togetherI would go with atleast 5/8s MDF. Not clear acrylic. You'll have to brace it so much it will look silly.
Thank you. Home depot carries 3/4" Mdf. Specialty places will carry 1". Putting 2 3/4" pieces together is a great idea. If you have air pockets, you need to return the wood! It is constructed flat and should be sold that way. Zero air pockets.I have never seen MDF greater than 5/8. Not to say it doesn't exist. I have never tries strapping two pieces of mdf together. I would think air pockets would exist between the pieces. I suppose you would sand/rough each side before you glued/screwed together. I apologize for the poor advice.

At least you don't claim to have a 790 hp, Oops I mean 490 hp Civic....My local HD does not. But they said some stores in other states do. We have to go to specialty building material stores to get the 5/8. I am beginning to think G Money isn't sure what he needs or is talking about. (I guess the same could be said for me in that matter)
