WTF at least 3/4" preferably 1".

And this thread is full of BS. FYI those audiobahn amps don't output 2400 watts each. And the speakers can not handle that much...

I have never seen MDF greater than 5/8. Not to say it doesn't exist. I have never tries strapping two pieces of mdf together. I would think air pockets would exist between the pieces. I suppose you would sand/rough each side before you glued/screwed together. I apologize for the poor advice.

Thank you. Home depot carries 3/4" Mdf. Specialty places will carry 1". Putting 2 3/4" pieces together is a great idea. If you have air pockets, you need to return the wood! It is constructed flat and should be sold that way. Zero air pockets.

My local HD does not. But they said some stores in other states do. We have to go to specialty building material stores to get the 5/8. I am beginning to think G Money isn't sure what he needs or is talking about. (I guess the same could be said for me in that matter)
