Help out this poor white trash system.

What would be better for the price and still sound good?
The AQ's you suggested do not have any good sound to them at all. So from that stand point, just about anything including walamrt speakers would do better. They may not be "louder", but your front stage should sound good, not just be loud and harsh.

From my research I've heard otherwise. I'm not saying your wrong but from everyone I have asked that had heard them or had them, I've heard nothing but compliments.

I have a ton of hands on experience with them. I wouldn't waste my $$ on their mids/highs. Unless you just want "loud" with no care for quality at least. Their amps/subs do good though.

I think your going to have to save up a little change a little at a time just change your 6.5 and thats about it with that kind of fund i'm sure somebody on here has a nice set to sell you. GL

Being poor white trash myself, I find it's best to save then save some more, then spend your savings wisely on something you will be happy with. Well, as happy as you can be, most folks here change parts of their systems like underwear. There is a lot of good bang for your buck stuff out there.

I know of a certain head unit on ebay right now you could pick up for under a hundred bucks, and you could likely find a pretty nice set of used components for another 100.00, something that ran over 200.00 new I'm sure.

Later add an amp for the components.

Keep adding, profit!

You simply cant get new speakers an amp and bass with 100-200$. Would be hard to do with $350. I suggest taking it slow and working on your system overtime. Like buy a nice set of components with that 100-200$. Then in a couple months put em on a amp. Then mabey a 10 inch sub later on. That way it will end up being a nice system rather than ****** off brand/low end used equipment that will sound like trash and wont hold up. and with that price range your gona have to hit up craigslist haha. Also, if you want bass you gona have to sacrifice some space. If its just a single 12 or something like that you can always simply unhook the speaker wire and remove the sub to fit whatever in your trunk. I used to have a little 12 inch cvr i did this with constantly. Could have it out and in my garage in 5 seconds haha

You can get an used headunit and 4 speakers in the classified section. They will be used but it'll still be much nicer than the stock radio. Add about $20 for a mounting kit from bestbuy or your local stereo shop and you should be able to stay below $200. If you REALLY wanna go cheap... get an DC/AC inverter (at least 400 watts) and a set of good computer speakers and a mp3 player and that works too. It'll be ghetto/redneck but if it works then it is not white trash.

trust me I've made a stereo with less.

Honestly I don't think it would be hard for them to make it where you use android auto AND your own music source. They made it able to do so...

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
