RememberedHowToChangethis
I have an issue which i believe to be electric related:
96 honda passport 3.2L v6 4x4
when i try to start the vehicle, the starter grinds on the flywheel and does not turn the motor over, almost as if it is not completely engaging. I have done little testing and found that if i allow the fuel pump to pressurize and turn off before turning to "start" there is no grind and the motor starts, i have tested this many times.
anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to fix this?
my thoughts are the dc resistance between the battery and starter is more than battery to fuel pump, therefore causing the starter to not receive enough power when needed.
if you agree with the above, then wire replacement?
more detail upon request!! suggestions?
