help on install of alpine 9856 cd player

im installing it on a 2000 honda civic..I just want to get the wiring staright when Im hooking everything up.. so far I have.. battery(yellow wire)===>yellow wire on car harness............ ground(black)====> black wire car harness..... ILL(orange)===>solid orange,hould I even hook it up?........... Red(ignition)==>red wire on car harness.......... remote(blue/white)===> to remote on amp....... and the speakers wires... is this correct? anything Im missing?? My friend told me that I do not need to hook up the Illumination wire(orange), is it true? Thanks

arent u using a wiring adapter harness? it usually has a manual that tells the colors, red and yellow or both usually power and black ground speaker wires are diff for most cars.

yea Im using a wiring harness adapter... how about the Illumination wire? should I take my friends advice and not connect it?

yea that looks right. all the wires are color cordinated which makes it really easy. and also u dont need to hook up the illumination wire.
