I apparently forgot to mention that I will go active, and it was my intention to mention that the 4-channel amp was to be bridged. Is it a bad idea to bridge the amp when going active, if so, why is that, I've never heard that one before.Hah - most people tend to go with a bridged amp for the comps - unless you want to go active. If you don't want to go active, then by all means, get a good amp and bridge it.
So, if bridging is out of the question when going active, is it possible to drive both woofers and tweeters, at least initially from a 2-channel amp, going active?
