Im looking to put a system in my 03 Gmc Sierra Ext. Cab and I narrowed it down to 2 choices 4 12" Type R's or 2 FI BL 18". the 4 12's will be connected to a sundown 3000D at 1ohm the FI BL's would be connected to the 3000D at .5Ohm. Which setup has the most potential to get louder? I really need your guy's input looking to do this setup asap.

Thanks,

Look at post #3.
If I face the subs forward where should the port be? Also the only thing I have against subs facing forward is that to me it seems like the seats would be blocking some of the air the sub pushes therefore not hitting as loud as the subs facing up.

Dude, I am a competitor that competes with a ext cab truck, just trust me:laugh:

You'd need a lot of port area for 2 18's, so I would probably try putting it firing up, along the entire length of the backwall. This is the way the USACI guys do it.
