Help me!

i have a 2004 f150 with the stock stereo. i hooked up a scosche line converter tapped to the rear speakers to my subs.... two fosgate p1 10s. and a fosgate p2502 amp. it doesnt seem like its getting the power to both that it should. if i turn the fade to either side it hits hard { one sub } but fade split like it should back to the weakness. im fairly new to this so i dont know where to start. any help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance....

how do you have the loc wired? check the gains on both channels on the loc are set equally also

also how did you run the rcas and then wired up the subs

sounds like you have one of the subs out of phase. Recheck all the wiring you did.

idk what loc is.... lol. the rcas are hooked up on the output for the converter and the input on the amp.

also the gains are equal on the converter. it hits hard if the fade is to the right or to the left just not in the middle....

ok, switch one of the wires around feeding the converter. You have one wired wrong. So let's change the right side, switch the wires that tap into the rear speaker. Do NOT change both sides, just one. And then let us know what happens.

take the wires from one sub and switch them around ,see if that solves the problem

i know the wires from subs to amp are correct because the amp is mounted to the box. i can clearly see that pos/neg are hooked up right if thats what u are saying....

Then check the wires on the actual subs inside the box.

You probably crossed wires at some point so one of the subs is hooked it in reverse. They will cancel eachother out and the output will be minimal
