Help me with my new build.

Wow, had a great post that was really long and detailed for you guys to help me, then it got denied. So, I lost it. Rediculous. Really sorry if I seem like a miserable git but that took ages as it's late and I'm really tired, you'll have to excuse this post and deem it as not my usual self.

Any questions just ask as I cant be bothered to type ALL that out again, I'll just do it in short for you now.

Really nice forum, you guys seem great.

New to this, did lots of early morning research, probably why it hasnt gone into my head.

Would like your help on my new build, I want SQ as opposed to SPL (not too quiet though) because my component speakers are rubbish.

Looking to spend £100-£150 ($165 - $250).

Can measure boot (it's a Corsa B) but don't know how to do cubic feet.

Open to suggestions (would prefer to go with the 12" variety, whether it be two 12" or one.)

Found what seems to me like a great deal, you may think otherwise, please tell me as I know very little on the matter:

Package includes:

BOSS AUDIO CX650, 4-channel amplifier (2x250W + 500W for sub)

Fli FF12-F2 12" 1000W subwoofer

12" sub-box

Fli Fi9 6x9 375W 6x9 speakers

8-gauge wiring kit

Normal RRP if purchased individually £349.99

For exactly £149.99

If I was to get the 6x9s (horrible ugly disgusting things) with it, I would box them (aesthetics more than anything, but might aswell make them good performance boxes), what sort of spec box would I need?

Thanks alot guys and again sorry if I seem miserable, sick of forums doing this to me >_

If you need some help with the enclosure I can help you out with it. No need to convert your measurements.

I wouldn't use the amp myself. There is a plethora of companies over that way, I can do some research for you and get some better options I'm sure. Do you have a budget it mind? If your budget is close to the cost of what you listed you may be limited in what you can get.

Thanks for the fast replies guys, appreciate the help.

That amp is a no-go then, noted. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Typically, I'm looking more to stick to the budget than get the best quality equipment as I'm going to Uni next month and need all the cash I can get haha.

Budget is solid max of £150/$250, it needs to be of good build quality so it doesn't break quickly, I know that's mostly to do with the upkeep and stuff though so I'll make sure to wear the sub in properly etc.

Esssentially all I want is a 12" sub (with box/custom box) and amp, the speakers arent a necessity at all, want to get some nice bass in the car. As said before, quality of sound is preffered but if a SQ setup is more expensive than a SPL setup then it'll be whatever is cheapest that I go for, I know very little like I said so just looking for your opinions.
