HeLP ME wire my sub......

ok i have a hifonics 1605 D amp that i want to run at 1 ohm to push my dual 2 ohm 15 kicker l7................in the pic i have it illustrated what amp looks like as well as the sub........each are numbered ...can someone explain to me where to run the wires.......each are numbered

ok,,,,so wire from #1 on amp to #4 on sub and wire from #3 on amp to # 3 on sub..........when looking at my pic

Wire the sub like so:

It doesn't matter which of the terminals on the amp you use as long as whichever ones you do use are appropriately wired for polarity (Pos output terminal to positive inputs on the sub and then likewise for the negatives)

OR - since you're wanting a parallel-wired configuration for your DVC 2 Ohm sub to achieve a nominal 1 Ohm load you could simply wire one coil to one set of terminals on the amp and the other coil to the other set of outputs on the amp. The same result is available either way.

The positive output on the amp needs to be connected to the positive input on both coils and likewise for the negative output on the amp to both negative coil inputs on your sub.

Let's just simplify things a bit then....

You have two sets of outputs on your amp.

You have two sets of inputs on your sub.

Put 'em together (one output to one input) and you're gold.

yea......from the pic i see one wire coming from one of the positives on the amp to one of the positives on the sub..then it looks like a cut a short piece of wire and run it from the positive on one coil to the positive on the other coil
