help me pick out my first HD TV!!

alright thanks guys tons of suggestions....

if this helps ive narrowed it down further

$600 or less

and size LCD

must have HDMI input

must be able to output 1080p

hmmm now im reading about that TV and seeing it cant ouput 1080p it scales down to 720p...hmm
its only $400 and your complaining about it not having 1080p LOL

dont worry about 1080p man the tv is to small to even tell the difference between 720 and 1080p you need at least a 50 inch to see a slight difference and the bigger the more of a difference their is...

alright well i just got an xbox 360 eliteand i am looking for a nice flat panel HD TV to go on my desk at school this upcoming semester to compliment the 360 and for gaming

i want to keep the price in the $500-600 dollar range

that should be me around 19" for a good brand and maybe upwards of 26" for an off- name brand if im guessing right

what are your guys suggestions?
I know this is off topic but I have to ask. Where the hell are you working that you can afford a 5-600 TV and an xbox elite while your in college? When I was in school (only a year ago) Me and my roomate had hand me down everythings in our apartment and I had a 27" CRT that cost me 100 bucks during a black friday sale 4 years ago. I'm so jealous of you kids nowadays. Are you gonna have this setup in your dorm or you got an apartment?

HDMI inputs!

Did you look at the Polaroids? I don't like the Silver finishes! The Polaroid resembles my Samsung in every way. It also has really good sound which you should also look at when making a decision unless you want to spend for another piece to support it. You can go 26 or 32 inch on those.
