So, I've got three choices here:
Orion 1200D - $329.98
Kicker KX1200.1 - $469.00
Pheonix Xenon X1200.1 - $459.00
Things I like about them,
Orion 1200D: It's at a cheap price, about $130-$140 less than the other two. I could save alot of money going down this route and get a decent pair of components, maybe some Polk Momo's - though I've heard their mounting depth is kinda deep. Not too sure if the amp will still be going strong a few years from now though.
Phoenix Xenon X1200.1: The 1-4 ohm regulated power input. That's pretty damn awesome. It's also 5% more efficient electrically than the other two. Puts out a little less wattage than the others.
Kicker KX1200.1: It has a 0/1 gauge power input while the other two have 4 gauge inputs. Comes with a bass knob. Probably the most reliable of the bunch. I won't have any kind of manufacturer's warranty so that matters a bit.
I've been thinking about this for awhile and I still can't decide, but I want to get this done with quickly as I just missed a pretty good deal at another site. As for setup, I'll probably be running two Type-R's or Pioneer 3004SPL's sealed, I'd go ported but chances are I'll **** everything up trying to make them. Running 0/1 gauge wire with Big 3 on a lower amperage alternator, new battery soon. Thanks for reading!
