Hail to the King Baby!!!!
Its for my brother goin to college in the fall. My parents are buying him one as a grad gift. I guess keep it around 1500 because its going to last for a long long time. He's not into gaming that much either, so graphics don't need to be top of the line. Also it doesn't need to be Vista, XP is good. And he gets 12% off of any Dell laptop.

dont get toshiba..POS IMO.does he work at target.?? lol i think i get that much off dell shit.
O'Rly?? im using one right now and no problems at all, all the keys work great they dont even get sticky after all the jizz i have shoot at it. Everything works awesome.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i got a HP Pavillion dv9000 17" screen

2 gb RAM

160 GB hd

nvidia 7600 256 mb card

I love it it does everything i need at least , runs smooth doesnt get to warm, but the screen cuts down alot on bat life when ur not plugged in

I paid 1450 for it 6 months ago.. So now my same computer i believe has a little more of a hd ( 180-200 i think ) vista ( if you even want that anyways) but everything else i think is the same.. Great computer

or if he wants a dell look at the 1505 or 1705 and just build it.. I saw both of them and tried em out for a lil bit, i just like the hp more, nicer looking , better keypad , number pad .. Nothing to big just my opinion
