Okay so I have about 2500 RMS to play with

Most likely going sealed

I am thinking either (4) 12's Like the RE SE (600 RMS)

Two nice 15's that can take 1500 rms or so sealed up

Two sealed 18's like the Fi Q

Or a single big ol 18" ported like a BTL.

What do ya'll think?

How does a btl sound against like techno, and other music other then hiphop?

well if your going for weight, id do a single sub(a 12 would be what i'd do) in a birch built box.

I like the idea of a single high power 12/15 in a birch box... Something like a BTL, Mach 5 SPL, RD HW, etc.

The Btl 12's are 63lbs a piece. If you did the btl ported in 6 cubes at 34 it would sound great for rap I know but techno I am not so sure about. Maybe tune a little higher?
