I'll be running an active setup with xxx6.5 mids and some still unknown tweets(recommendations?). I just need a 4 channel amp that will do the job.

Sorry for lack of info, but any help would be appreciated.

Would an ed 9.4 work? since im already getting a 9.1 for my sub? What other options do I have?

How would the 9.4 compare to that mb quartz amp?

as for the 9.4 its:

65 x 4 @ 4 Ohms Stereo

100 x 4 @ 2 Ohms Stereo

150 x 2 @ 4 Ohms Stereo

Subsonic Filter : No

Low Pass Crossover : Yes

Current Protection : Yes

Length : 12.00

Width : 9.85

Height : 2.25

mb quarts:

100 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (200 watts x 4 at 2 ohms)

» 400 watts RMS x 2 in bridged mode (4-ohm minimum impedance)

» CEA-2006 compliant

» front and rear high- and low-pass filters (variable 50-500 Hz at 12 dB per octave)

» multiplier x10 switch converts filters to variable from 500 to 5,000 Hz

» LED clipping indicators

» preamp-level inputs and outputs

» front end defeat bypasses gain and crossover controls

» fuse rating: 30A x 3

» requires 4-gauge power and ground leads — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier

» 11-1/2"W x 2-3/8"H x 16-3/4"D

» warranty: 1 year

Any other options? is 100 watts enough for each xxx mid?

maybe grab the MB Quart 4 channel on sale at Crutchfield

I like teh six channel amps, like the audiobahn 6601, just so i can have independent control of the Highs, Mids, and Tweets.

highs, mids, and tweets?

high = tweet IIRC //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

midbass, midrange, and highs\tweet\treble you mean //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

sweet thanks alot, i'll definately look at those. I'll wait a little bit though, since that Mb Quart amp wasn't around, I just bought a ed 9.1 with one of those $50 off codes for my xxx.

Just bought a coustic xm6 too so im getting closer to install time. Wiring and 1 more amp is all I need, can't wait.
