Help me pick an active crossover.

LOL
So I keep changing my mind on which crossover I should buy. I found an old fosgate symmetry exp2 on Ebay. It's between that and a 3sixty.2 or a an Alpine pxa-701 or 700. Considered some audio control products...don't remember right now why I wanted to go with something else....Was going to pick up a behringer dcx-2496 and buy a DC power supply from envision electric on diymobilaaudio.com but the more I read about behringer products in general just makes me want to laugh. Someone here had mentioned they fixed them quite often and their personal favorite was flames shooting out of the input jacks, lol. So I don't know. Help me out. General Requirements are 500 dollars or less, outboard and I'd like to stick with rcas and not convert to balanced unless I have to. Discuss.

stay away from behringer. Very cheap in price but very low quality. People in the pro sound business laugh at behringer. If you want to use a pro audio type processor look at dbx and their driverack products, a company called bss, and what I personally like to use are processors made by a company called xta. If you want to use a car processor either the 360.2 or the alpine product is a good setup. I just replaced my audio control three.1 with a 3sixty.2 and im happy so far. I was torn between the alpine and the 3sixty.2 hope i made the right choice.

Denali where did you get the 360.2 and how much? I think I like it better than the Alpine simply because I Won't be locked into buying Alpine products if I want a different H/U in the future. That and if I get a newer car I might possibbly consider keeping the stock h/u and the 360 could help with that, but thats a long shot.

I found a guy selling one on ebay. I emailed him and asked him to do a buy it now and he did for $265. The thing is brand new in the box. I think that they usually sell for about $300. It makes my stock head unit sound great, alot better than the audiocontrol piece it replaced.
