help me pick a new setup...

Hey guys,

I am looking to have a new setup in my car within the next few months...so i thought i would start planning everything out while I wasnt so busy.

Right now i have the setup in my sig. Don't get me wrong, this system beats hard as hell....i have actually had people ask if it was 2 12's.

anyway, I'm looking to switch to a single 10" woofer with some massive excursion. Why you say? i dont know, i just do...call me weird if you want to.

I want to stay under $250 if i can help it. Right now im looking at mtx 8500 series and re audio se series, just to give you an idea of what im after. It will probably go in a ported box....

Want loud or excursion? They are not the same thing. RE SE's aren't bad if you can get a good deal on one. Check the classified here for a 10.

i want it to be decently loud, dont really want it louder than my current setup. i found a re se on ebay, new for 165 shipped.

the eclipse titanium....whats the model number?

the RE SE 10" has 18mm xmax, btw....

any other suggestions?
