help me pick a ball breaking beater sub!

After looking around the bay I might just go with the sx. That way I won't have to part with any of my old amps. My spl12 is currently seeing 500 watts @ 2 ohms. Will that sx @ 1000 watts @ 1 ohm be much louder?

No way to tell if it will be louder. Install dependent. It should be though.

RE SX's are very capable subs in the right install.
