help me pick a ball breaking beater sub!

I'm looking to put something loud in my winter jeep. I've got a large ported box. I'm guessing its somewhere around 2.5 cubes or bigger. I've got an old spl12 in there now but want something louder. I'll be running an old class a 10.0 so ill have a little more than a 1000 watts on tap @ 1 ohm. I'm looking at the re sx and me subs along with the idmax and dd 9512. I've got one of those ebay courtesy coupons so I've gotta find one on the bay. What's going to be the loudest with what I've got??

Not enough power for 9512. If you want to go DD I would do 3512. Or an FI BL12 would be a good choice as well.

I think you should check into the Fi Bl12. Good sub for daily beating.

if you just want something loud, then get a kicker L7, their pretty cheap too...

Price doesn't matter. My ebay coupon is good for $200 and I was gonna get rid of some of my old ss amps. I really wanted to try out the fi btl but I. can't ever find a new 12" on ebay.

Eh I don't really care for the kicker stuff anymore. If an idmax doesn't show up on the bay I might try out the re audio sx.

I would choose the BL out of those three if you are looking to get loud. The BL actually sounds pretty darn good to me too. It should get louder than the IDMax. No idea on the DD sub though as I have never run one.

After looking around the bay I might just go with the sx. That way I won't have to part with any of my old amps. My spl12 is currently seeing 500 watts @ 2 ohms. Will that sx @ 1000 watts @ 1 ohm be much louder?
