Help me making a life-altering decision...

So, I have no money in my bank account, and maybe $6 dollars in my wallet with $20 dollars of gas in my car. Tomorrow I get $190... from a debt and from a college refund thing. At any rate... that'll be my 'live-off of' money until Christmas where hopefully I get enough to last me 6 more months 'til my birthday and so on... until College is over. I'm pretty good with money, only thing I have to pay for is Gas... and I eat other people's food or my food at home which is frees.

At any rate, I have to spend at least $20-30 dollars on my gf's system install since I blew her budget in equipment and failed to save enough money for wood and other little things...

So, that $196 goes down to about $176-166.

Now, here are the options:

A) I can either save the money and try to live off of it as long as I can

or

B) Visit my best friend up in College (It's about 3 hours away, roughly 250-300 miles)

Cons to B are that my best friend is also my ex-girlfriend who I'm still crazy about, and whom is crazy about me. As stated previously, I have a gf and that could be bad. Especially since I'd stay in her dorm... and have to sleep on her twin bed with her... or the floor. But I

Pros to B are that my best friend is going through a rough time... she's not really accepting the 'College Scene' too well (because people who just get into College get a lot of freedom and go fcking apeshi, and she's not really into that... and to top it off, much like me, it's hard for her to make friends... so it'd really cheer her up if I went up for a weekend.

I did the math, in my BangStang it'll probably cost about $80-100 dollars in gas to drive up there and back, not including the money spent up there.

So my $160 dollar budget will go to either $80-60 dollars... which isn't much... at all.

I'm torn between this.

Just shy of 5,600 jobs available in Miami, FL. I am sure you can find one full- or 2 part-time jobs in your area. Fast food joints and gas stations are always hiring. Most places are pretty lenient when it comes to college students, too, when it comes to scheduling and needing time off for exams, etc.

if you don't get a call back, go back and ask, get another application, talk to the manager or HR, make the people understand you want a job working there and be persistant...

Oh yeah, skip the best friend deal, spending 100.00 on gas to go see this girl when you are as poor as you have made it out is just dumb, plus the fact that if your current GF finds out your best friend is female and you have seen her nekid and you will be single and with no money...use your brain man, a weekend w/ your BFF..LOL... or 2 months without cash and yanking your dude...Should be a real easy decision...

Yeah, just making sure that when you turn in your app you're turning it into the manager makes a world of difference. It makes him remember you and when sorting through the stacks of apps, he'll see your name and will have a face to go with it.
