okay well first I had everything wired up great, no noise and all worked well. I went on a little drive and didnt get three blocks before theres a loud BANG and something happens, so I quickly shut off the HU. Now I have alt whine.
oh but it gets better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif The other day im driving (managing with the alt whine, as you cant hear it when the music is up) but all of a sudden theres a pop and the sub starts pulsating repeatedly and my lights are dimming like crazy (with a HO alt, so pretty sure my kicker kx 1200.1 was pulling 10,000watts or something //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif)
anyways, now I have heavy alt whine and a constant buzzing.
If I unplug my speaker amp's RCAs, obviously the noise goes away (as my speakers cant get a signal)
If I unplug my sub output, the noise goes away. (leading me to believe its something with the sub output)
My main concern is, wth happened in my story I told. Did my ground come loose? Did my RCA's touch metal? Ive never heard anything like that.
*Btw both amps seem to work fine, no sub was blown, no speakers were blown (to my knowledge) and I tried relocating my ground, didnt help*
Hey thanks for reading ladies and gents.
